The last visitor's center before we crossed back into the US

Still a kid...gotta climb the rocks

Again, we go through the border with no problems.

The main street into the big town of Brady...no blink you might miss it.

The only thing to do in Brady....Dusty's Bar

The Gang

Rough day boys?
 Tuesday Aug. 2nd – Day 28

We are on the road again this morning after having a quick breakfast at Tim Horten’s.  We crossed back into the US border at Sweet Grass Montana at 12:30 and arrived in Brady, MT. at 2:00. Wow...85 degrees in Brady with some big thunderheads.  We got settled in and Jay, Pam and Kenny took us down to the famous Dusty’s Bar for our 4:00 beer.  Pam introduced me to Twisted Tea.  Good stuff!!  I’m bringing some home along with Buddy’s favorite new snack “Microwavable Pork Rinds” (Yuck).  Kenny introduced us to his good old friends Dwayne, Trees and Terry and several more rounds of beer kept coming our way. After a few hours of chillin with the boys, we went back to the house and Kenny made us his favorite Pork Chop dinner.  You dip them in flour, fry on both sides, then put them in the oven with a mixture of Cream of Mushroom Soup and Milk over then and bake.  DELICIOUS!!

Wed. Aug 3rd – Day 29 still in Brady

Pam drove Buddy and I around the surrounding areas today while Jay stayed home to continue his handyman work for Kenny.  We got to see where Pam was born, grew up and enjoyed her childhood days.  We went into Conrad to a wonderful butcher shop and bought a coupe of huge Ribeyes for dinner later.  When we got back to the house and a friend of Kenny’s (Terry) came over to visit.  He took us all back to his ranch ad few miles down the road to meet his wife Alice and give us a tour of their ranch land, horses, barn along with their wonderful hospitality.  Then it was back to Dusty’s for the 4:00 beer. Now, time to grill up those awesome steaks and have Strawberry/Rhubarb Pie for dessert. An awesome day from start to finish.

Thursday Aug. 4th – Day 30

Up early, closed up our trailer and Pam made us some sausage and 9 grain cereal for breakfast. Then guess where we had to go…down to Dusty’s to have a cup of coffee and say “Goodbye” to everyone.  We might have to go back next July for their annual Biker Rodeo.  Now we are heading over to Missoula, MT via the 220 Hwy and then over to Corvallis to spend the night with an retired co-worker of Buddy’s from LA County. On our drive over we saw 6 Whitetail Bucks, 3 to 6 pointers.
