Friday July 15 - Day 10

We were on the road by 6:40am this morning heading up to McKinley RV Park, just outside Denali National Park.  We had some great stops along the way...Stop at Delta Junction (the official end of the Alaska Hwy) take more pics and get some more hot coffee.  Then to the Knotty Shop (not quit what Buddy thought) to see their unusual Burl Wood construction and Wood Products. Then off to Santa's House in the North Pole of Alaska. Yes, I got to sit in Santa's lap and Buddy got to sit with the Elf's. We saw Rudolf and Santa sent some special post cards to all of our Grandkids.

Then off to the big city of Fairbanks.  Yes, we were so excited to see a Sam's Club, got gas for $3.88 gal.  whoopee!!!!!  And then to Wal-Mart for more food (that we could afford) cuz we will be staying at the RV Park for 3 nights.  Tomorrow we will be touring Denali Park for the day and Sunday I'm taking Budding on a 4 hour White Water River Rafting Tour.  Should be a blast.....hopefully no one falls in the water, they told me it is a little cool 36 degrees.  Burrrrrrrr!!!!!  Finally can catch up on some pictures....we have somewhat good internet service at this campground.  Hope you enjoy them!!!!  ;-)
